The photographer I decided to focus on this time is Frank Dituri. As I looked through all his photos one thing I realized is that some of his photographs are purposefully out of focus. The pictures above are from his project called In Church in which Dituri photographed a church but made all of his images out of focus. The images are not too out of focus but not too the point where the viewer may struggle to recognize some of the objects in the image. This gives the photographs a eerie and mysterious feel. The black and white help with that mysterious sense and the low contrast brings out the photos even more. I like Dituri's approach too this project he could have went a different route but the photographs are very intriguing and unique because he did something different,
