This is a book put together by Guy Archard called 'Almost'. Here he explored the beauty and decay in both the physical and metaphysical form. Abstracted images take the viewer on a poetic meander through relationships with loved ones past and present, accompanied by pondering day-dream fixations on everyday objects.
What I enjoy about his photographs is the 'time' represented in them, through his color palette, subject matter and the handle on them as far as post production (printing). I enjoy the lucidity of his work and appreciate the concept. What comes to mind is not only time, but memories. I like how he has saluted the present and past and in a way the future - given that we all know our futures will eventually be a past at some point.
