Thomas Misik, born in 1973, studied architecture at the University of Hanover and fine arts at the Academy of Visual Arts in Braunschweig, Germany. As an architect himself, Misik’s approach to architectural photography is shaped by a philosophy different from that of other photographers. His approach to his subjects is simplistic and minimalist. Choosing to use natural lighting and long exposures to capture his images, he emphasizes depth and saturation of colors. Combining his architectural background and love for photography, his images provide a unique experience for the viewer. In his last image, he simply flips the photo to create more intrigue.
This is so your style too, Ken.
