Weekly Post: Tamas Deaso

Tamas Deazso is a fine art documentary photographer based in Budapest. Since 2011 he has been documenting the disintegration of former Communist Romania's infrastructure in a series of photographs called Notes for an Epilogue. In his own words, the purpose of the project is to 'render a world which may disappear forever imperceptibly and very rapidly due to the transitional nature of the [Communist] era'.

Deazso works on long-term projects focusing on the fringes of society. Without his work these disappearing landscapes would be completely lost to time and change. His strait forward approach to his subjects help to promote a poignant feel to both the images and the subjects in them.
