weekley post: Ernie Paniccioli
This photographer I am highly fond of and love his work but also the fact he was able to capture the essence of what hip hop was back in the golden era. Ernie Paniccioli, is a native American photographer who was Public Enemy's private photographer when they were starting off but would later branch off and photograph other artist who are now considered legends today like Jay Z, Notorious B.I.G and A Tribe Called Quest. Ernie Paniccioli, also made a book called Who Shot Ya based on his work and photographs of rappers who were murdered like 2Pac, Biggie Smalls, and others like Eazy E and Big Pun. Ernie Paniccioli, still photographs to this day in capturing hip hop in its evolutionary stage but has blessed us with memoirs from the past.
