Weekly, Jeff Wall
Jeff Wall is a Canadian Artist best known for his large scale back-lit cibachrome photographs and art history writing. Wall primarily sets up scenes and photographs them, setting up every detail in the scene. Some of Wall's photographs are complicated productions involving cast, sets, crews, and digital postproduction. I find Wall's work interesting because of the amount of detail he gives to his productions. He seemingly has figured out how to think about everything when he composes a photograph, and doesn't leave anything solely up to the viewers interpretation.
