Paul Walsh by Stephanie

The photos in Walsh's series Isolated Coastline are all captured using ambient light and because the location of the series is on the English Channel most of the images have an overcast and a sense of serenity. The colors aren't saturated and don't take anything away from the images themselves but do add some warmth to each one. Walsh's decision on using a wider lens allows for space to take up the images and gives me more inspiration for what I need to do when I'm photographing. There is a solace about his images that also give keen to space and the setting of the series.
