I am a big fan of the film noir style in the past and I ran across a photographer by the name of Jim Ferreira. He takes portraiture photographs but in the film noir theme, the photos are set up like a movie shoot which takes quit a bit of time but the end result is simply captivating. The harsh black and whites in the photographs capture the essence of a classical period in time when things were less computerized and brings a sense of realism to his photos. I cannot express more my love for classical photography or movies even music and too see it still appreciated today and replicated, is very refreshing.
